Job summary

SGS (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Customer Master Data Management Specialist to ensure quality and timeliness of master data setup across the system. You will maintain controls, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and drive improvements in master data processes.

The role requires 3+ years in Master Data Management, experience with financial systems (Oracle E-Business Suite a plus), and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Master Data Management.
• Experience in financial systems; Oracle E-Business Suite is a plus.
• Familiarity with MS Excel.
• Analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and as part of a strong team.
• Good understanding of data structures and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality, completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of Master Data setup/maintenance.
• Maintain internal controls for master data records.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality.
• Perform regular review and cleanup of master data.
• Support master data process improvement initiatives.
• Create or update documentation and training materials for Master Data.
• Primary contact with country-based account management, commercial and related departments.
• Manage and drive Master Data team responsibilities.
• Perform user acceptance testing on defect resolution and enhancements.
• Inform Supervisors of issues or opportunities with existing customers.
