About the role

H.M.O. INTERNATIONAL RECRUITMENT INC. is seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) for our Wave 1 Insurance Account. This is a full-time position based at our location in Mall of Asia, Pasay City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will be the vital link between our insurance clients and their customers, delivering exceptional service whilst handling inquiries, claims, and policy-related matters with professionalism and efficiency. This position operates through a virtual process, allowing for flexible engagement whilst maintaining the highest standards of customer service excellence. Your contributions will directly impact client satisfaction and retention within the insurance sector.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls from insurance clients and policyholders with professionalism and courtesy
• Process insurance inquiries, policy information requests, and customer complaints in a timely manner
• Provide accurate information regarding insurance products, coverage options, and policy terms
• Document customer interactions and transactions in the company management system with precision and attention to detail
• Resolve customer issues and concerns whilst maintaining compliance with company policies and insurance regulations
• Support policy administration tasks including policy issuance, amendments, and renewals
• Meet or exceed established performance metrics including call handling time, quality standards, and customer satisfaction targets
• Escalate complex issues to supervisors or specialised departments as required
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive customer and company information at all times
• Participate in training sessions and ongoing professional development programmes to enhance product knowledge and service skills

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is advantageous
• Proven customer service experience, preferably within a call centre or insurance-related environment
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly and listen actively to customers
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach to resolving issues
• Proficiency with computer systems, customer relationship management (CRM) software, and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Patience, empathy, and emotional intelligence when interacting with diverse customers
• Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work within scheduled shifts
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of insurance products or processes is a plus but not essential as comprehensive training will be provided
