Recruitment

• Plan crew rotations to meet vessel schedules and ensure compliance with work-hour regulation
• Source qualified candidates from existing pools to new recruits.
• Coordinate with recruitment teams to fill vacancies and propose promotions for onboard crews

Documentation and Compliance

• Ensure all crew certifications are ship-shape and in line with domestic maritime regulations.
• Update crew management system monitor certification and licenses
• Craft crew schedules that keep everything sailing smoothly, and handle changes like a pro.

Crew Welfare and Logistics

• Be the go-to person for crew support, ensuring our team is happy and thriving on every voyage.
• Address onboard concerns including wage disputes or medical emergencies, by liaising with payroll and medical teams

Coordinate with Stakeholders

• Liaise with principals, agents, and port authorities to confirm crew changes and vessel requirements
• Ensure the training updates of the seafarers to complete mandatory courses

Performance Monitoring

• Evaluate crew performance through onboard reports and propose promotions or disciplinary actions
• Conduct post-voyage debriefings to gather feedback and improve future deployments

Policy Pioneer

• Help us develop and streamline crewing policies that support our growth and dedication to excellence.
• Knowledgeable in Marina policies, audits and legislations related to domestic shipping.

Administrative requirements

Administrative reporting, interpersonal skills, problem solving abilities, detail oriented, tech savvy, adaptable, and able to handle high pressure; strong communications skills.
