Odfjell is seeking a Temporary Crewing Assistant with strong analytical ability and a high sense of urgency in getting results that are timely and accurate.

Your exceptional skills in controlling work processes and delivering fast but carefully thought-out results will be an asset. Solving problems and making decisions independently are musts in this demanding role.

Using prudent judgment in unsupervised situations and maintaining continuity of workflow despite interruptions will keep you challenged and active. Courteous and professional handling of our seafarers is always a must.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

The position provides support in areas of crewing operations including handling of reporting crew, preparations of report, and updating the compass system.

TASKS:

The Crewing Assistant ---

Assists in daily Crew planning operations.

Responsible for reporting crew and including contacting the crew for any schedule and/or updates.

Maintain the accuracy of the compass system

Prepares relevant reports for crewing operations.

Work closely with team members to streamline operations and ensure optimal efficiency in all aspects of the crew planning process.

QUALIFICATIONS:

You are a college graduate in Science or Management.

You have at least one-year relevant experience in manning / shipping.

You can handle multiple tasks simultaneously and have exceptional follow through.

You pay attention to details and are accurate in handling of data.

You can work well under pressure and driven by new challenges.

Knowledge in using Microsoft tools, especially MS Excel, PowerPoint is a benefit.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
