Job summary

Höegh Autoliners is seeking a Crew Auxiliary Team Lead to oversee daily operations and support crewing, recruitment, digitalization, and administrative initiatives. You will ensure efficient crew operations and drive process improvements while coordinating with global teams.

The role emphasizes active involvement in recruitment, data integrity in the crew management system, and collaboration across departments to sustain operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Experience in crewing operations, crew administration, maritime HR, recruitment, or related fields is advantageous.
• Exposure to digitalization, reporting tools, data analytics, or process automation is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in an international and multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day Crew Auxiliary operations and act as deputy for the Crew Auxiliary Manager.
• Support recruitment activities and maintain candidate engagement channels.
• Serve as Recruitment Team Lead and oversee the crew management software (OCS HR).
• Support crew planning, reporting, and deployment through seafarer coordination and documentation.
• Verify documents for contracts, addenda, reimbursements, and other crew requirements.
• Coordinate PEME requirements and follow-up results.
• Maintain seafarer data and documentation in OCS HR in line with procedures.
• Maintain vessel crew lists and next-of-kin records and related documentation.
• Support succession planning and drive continuous improvement and digitalization initiatives.
• Contribute to operational excellence within the Crew Auxiliary team.
