Job summary

Via Mare Corporation in Manila is seeking a Cost Controller to manage cost control reporting, stock reconciliation, and inventory processes. The role requires a relevant degree and at least 1 year in a cost-control or supervisory capacity, with strong analytical and computer skills to ensure accurate records and timely reporting.

The candidate will handle daily and monthly inventories, trend discrepancies, and support the Restaurant Supervisor in maintaining cost efficiency across outlets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or HRM.
• At least 1 year cost control or supervisory experience.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Accomplishes cost control reports on a continuing basis and on due dates.
• Reconciles stock transfers to outlets monthly.
• Records cost adjustments (spoilage, employees’ meals, steward sales, etc.).
• Reconciles sales reports based on Daily Inventories.
• Handles typing, filing, and other cost control paperwork.
• Participates in monthly and daily food and beverage inventories.
• Reports discrepancies to the Restaurant Supervisor.

Core Responsibilities

• Accomplishes on a continuing basis and on due dates the following cost control reports.

• a. Daily Receiving Reports.

• b. Monthly Reconciliation of stock transfer to outlet.

• c. Records and cost adjustment entries i.e. spoilage, employees’ meal, steward sales, etc.

• Responsible for reconciling sales reports based on Daily Inventories.

• Accomplishes typing, filing, and other relevant paperwork for Cost Control Department.

• Participates in monthly and daily food and beverage inventories.

• Reports discrepancies and irregularities concerning supplies to the Restaurant Supervisor
