Job summary

Private Advertiser in Cavite City seeks a Cook with at least 1 year of kitchen experience to join our team. You will handle basic food preparation, follow standard recipes, and ensure proper portion sizes and presentation. Maintain food safety and sanitation, monitor quality, and work efficiently during peak hours.

You will collaborate with Kitchen Team Leaders and other staff. Open/close duties and weekend/holiday shifts are required; FIFO/FEFO and inventory control experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a cook or line cook; restaurant experience preferred.
• Knowledgeable in basic food preparation, cooking techniques, portioning, and food presentation.
• Able to consistently follow standard recipes, portion sizes, and food quality standards.
• Knowledgeable in proper food handling, sanitation, hygiene, and kitchen safety.
• Able to work efficiently during peak hours and high-volume operations.
• Can properly use and maintain common kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Able to monitor food quality and immediately report spoiled, damaged, or substandard ingredients.
• Willing to follow FIFO/FEFO, inventory control, and wastage-control procedures.
• Must be punctual, disciplined, honest, and reliable.
• Can work well with Kitchen Team Leaders, Supervisors, and other team members.
• Willing to perform opening, closing, cleaning, and kitchen maintenance duties.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
• Physically capable of working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and standing for extended periods.
• At least High School Graduate; culinary or food-service training is an advantage.

• Experience in a fast-paced Filipino restaurant or quick-service restaurant (QSR).

• Has a valid Health Certificate/Health Card or is willing to secure required employment and food-handling documents.
