Job summary

Share Pro Inc. is seeking a Contracts Engineer in Manila to manage bidding, tendering, and cost breakdowns for assigned projects. This role includes evaluating change orders, supervising budget estimates, and ensuring timely awards.

The incumbent will monitor project OTC, prepare bid documents, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders through SAP/CRM-like systems to ensure on-time project awards.

Qualifications

• Bidding, tendering and cost estimation process understanding.
• Experience with change orders, budget estimates and contract closure.
• Familiarity with project documentation and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Construction: conduct pre-bid meetings and site inspections.
• Prepare control estimates and bid documents (ITB, annexes, queries).
• Evaluate bids, attend post-bid clarifications and draft awards.
• Prepare/record contract documentation and monitoring of projects.
• Handle change orders and extra work assessments; reconcile costs.
• Process contract billings via Sapphire system and coordinate meetings.
• Final inspections and contract closure activities; maintenance contracts.
• Data entry for contracts/claims and use Newforma Project Mgmt; CAD tracker.

Job Summary

The Contracts Engineer handles the process of bidding and awarding of the projects in assigned areas. Duties include preparing ofbid, documents, detailed estimate and cost breakdown, evaluating and endorsing tenders. He/she evaluates change orders, repairworks and budgetary cost estimates. He/she is responsible for monitoring OTC of assigned projects to ensure projects are awardedon time.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Pre - Construction Phase
• Conducts Pre-Bid Meetings
• Attend Site Inspections
• Assist in the Preparation of Control Estimates as needed per package
• Lead the Preparation of Bid Documents for Bidding (Invitation to Bid, Bid Annexes, Queries, Bid Bulletins)
• Tabulation and Evaluation of Bids (Post Bid Clarification Meetings)
• Award/ Contract Documentation
• Updates Procurement Monitoring or Similar Monitoring of Projects Being Handles (OKR Regular Updating)
• 2. Construction Phase
• Evaluation and Validation of Change Orders/Extra Work (including Reconciliation Process)
• Process Contract Billings for Timely Payment to Contractor through Approval in Sapphire Billing Management System.
• Attend Coordination Meetings
• Conduct Final Inspections
