Job Summary
The Lead Civil Design Engineer supervise and lead the preparation of detailed plans, estimates and documents for permit application,bidding and construction for Land Development. Provide solutions during construction and as approved job request for thecompletion up to acceptance of work. Knowledgeable in raw land data collection, interpretation of evaluation report and siterequirements as part of the guidelines in land development plan preparation.
Duties and Responsibilities
RAW LAND STUDY
- Collect, check and evaluate data with site inspection for raw land evaluation in coordination with managers and project group to provide land development values and development cost (submission of initial site evaluation report for subdivision and MRB proposed development).
- Master Planning / Study of initial Site Development Plan (SDP) (Submission of approved master plan or initial SDP of subdivision or Medium Rise Building (MRB)).
PLAN PREPARATION AND DESIGN COORDINATION WITH STRUCTURAL CONSULTANTS
- Supervise the preparation of conceptual and detailed plans, estimates and documents for permit application,bidding and construction and submit complete permit/bid/construction plan, Land Development, Amenities, Housing, Marketing Office, Building/MRB
POST PLANNING ACTIVITIES
- Provide solutions during construction to suit site conditions and as approved job request for the completion up to acceptance of work, Meeting / Inspection / Shop Drawings.
RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
- Frequent checking of new products, methodologies and services that can be used in FLI projects for possible cost savings (reduced subdivision maintenance and capital cost).
ALLIED COMPANIES SERVICES
- Provide evaluation reports, studies the plan as requested (Technical assistance to FCD Companies), FAI(FCC) and other allied companies.
CORPORATE WORKS
- Corporate Planning work requirement (Address issues / requirements requested by Corp plan including smart sheet works), PDMC / PCDC / TPRC (Secure /discuss projects for management approval) and Company Activities (Attendance to company activities)
ADMINISTRATIVE WORKS
- Departmental meetings and activities, (Attendance to departmental meeting and activities.)
- Continuing Education/Seminar/Training (Presentation of Certificate of Attendance), Clerical or administrative
Technical Competencies and Skills
- Knowledgeable in operating Civil3D CAD software for Land Development Design and using Microsoft Office software
- Technical knowledge in design of grading plan, roads, drainage, sewerage, water and retaining wall structures
Education, Trainings and Licenses Required
Graduate of BS in Civil Engineering
