Contract Engineer
As an international company, we are looking for a Contract Engineer to manage and oversee contracts throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of engineering and construction processes, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities in English.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, administer, and monitor contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual terms, applicable laws, and project requirements.
- Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Design Teams on all contractual matters and report directly to the Procurement Manager.
- Track contract performance, variations, claims, and key contractual deadlines.
- Support dispute resolution processes and participate in negotiations of contract amendments and change orders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records, correspondence, and reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Contract Engineer, Contract Administrator, or in a similar role within engineering, EPC, or construction projects.
- Solid knowledge of contract administration, procurement processes, and project management practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Highly detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with contract management systems is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with international contracts and multicultural project teams.
- Understanding of risk management, claims, and financial aspects of contracts.
- Familiarity with EPC, FIDIC, or similar contract frameworks (if applicable).
