Job summary

Armanino India LLP is hiring a GL Payroll Accountant to manage US and Canada payroll accounting aligned with US GAAP. You will handle GL postings in D365 and OneStream, prepare reconciliations, and assist with annual audits.

The role requires a 4-year degree in Accounting/Finance, experience in a large corporate GL shared services team, and strong Excel skills. Collaboration across teams is essential, with attention to detail and process improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Responsible for GL payroll accounting in accordance with US GAAP.
• Ensure D365 GL payroll postings are complete and accurate for all US and Canadian resorts.
• Prepare monthly US and Canadian balance sheet reconciliations for all payroll accounts and upload to OneStream in a timely manner according to established deadlines.
• Prepare adjusting journal entries to align GL accounts with the appropriate support.
• Investigate reconciling items and discrepancies; implement process improvements as necessary.
• Perform variance analysis through investigation and assistance of the Payroll and HRIS teams.
• Communicate payroll accounting issues effectively with the GL accounting team.
• Develop an understanding of the industry to include recurring and non-recurring payroll transactions.
• Prepare payroll audit schedules and assist auditors as necessary with annual audit.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 4-year degree required; Accounting or Finance
• Relevant experience within a large corporate GL shared accounting services team is preferred
• Knowledge of GAAP and GL accounting month-end close processes
• Proficient with large ERP systems including D365, OneStream and Workday
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience working with a diverse team of people
• Success at building relationships and collaborating cross-functionally across the organization
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Proven ability resolve accounting issues and recommend process improvements
• Team player that will approach work challenges with enthusiasm
