Private Advertiser is seeking a hands-on Safety Officer to drive OSH compliance, risk management, and safety program development across a Lemery, Batangas project site. You will serve as Secretary to the Health & Safety Committee, manage meetings, minutes, and action items.

Advisory & Compliance: Serve as the primary safety advisor, ensuring full company compliance with OSH Standards and legal safety requirements.
Committee Leadership: Act as Secretary to the Health & Safety Committee—managing meetings, minutes, action items, and reporting.
Inspections & Risk Management: Conduct routine inspections to eliminate hazards, regularly update HIRAC assessments, and enforce Work Stoppage Orders (WSO) for high-risk, unmitigated hazards.
Incident Management & Reporting: Lead incident investigations, track accident data, and prepare statutory safety reports (e.g., DOLE filings, monthly statistics, investigation reports).
Training & Culture: Lead toolbox talks, coordinate employee EHS training, and issue safety bulletins and alerts.
Emergency Preparedness: Establish and maintain the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and organize regular emergency response drills.
Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with subcontractors, site teams, and visiting government inspectors during compliance audits.
Graduate of any Bachelor's Degree
At least 2 years experience in construction safety management
Safety Officer Level 3 (SO3) certification
Completed BOSH / COSH and Loss Control Management (LCM) or Training of Trainers (TOT)
Certified First Aider
Must be willing to work in Lemery, Batangas.
This is under a project-based employment. Initial one year contract.
