RUA Energia Services Corp. is seeking a Safety Officer to implement and monitor its OSH programs across project sites and offices in the Philippines.
You will lead safety trainings, conduct inspections, investigate incidents, and ensure compliance with OSHS and DOLE regulations, while promoting a strong safety culture.

The Safety Officer is responsible for implementing and monitoring the company's Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) programs to ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws, DOLE regulations, and company safety policies. The role focuses on preventing workplace accidents, promoting a strong safety culture, and maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
Implement and enforce company safety policies, procedures, and programs.
Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify workplace hazards.
Monitor compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards and DOLE regulations.
Conduct safety orientations, toolbox meetings, and safety training for employees.
Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports with corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure employees properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
Coordinate emergency response activities, fire drills, and evacuation procedures.
Monitor housekeeping practices and recommend improvements to maintain a safe work environment.
Prepare and maintain safety documentation, reports, permits, and inspection records.
Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and clients regarding safety requirements.
Recommend corrective actions to address unsafe conditions and unsafe acts.
Assist in ensuring compliance with client-specific safety requirements and standards.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field is an advantage.
Must be a DOLE-accredited Safety Officer (SO2/SO3 certification is an advantage).
At least 1-2 years of experience in occupational safety, preferably in construction, engineering, or related industries.
Knowledgeable in the Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS), DOLE regulations, and safety management systems.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Willing to travel and work at project sites when required.
Preferably residing in Las Piñas/ Malvar, Batangas
Experience handling construction or MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) projects is an advantage
