Job summary

Total Philippines Corporation is seeking a Construction and Maintenance Engineer to lead the design, construction, and upkeep of our fuel refilling stations across multiple sites in Metro Manila. The role requires coordinating civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering tasks and ensuring compliance with building, fire, electrical, and environmental codes.

You will manage contractors, conduct site inspections, and prepare reports for management and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in retail gas station and construction project management.
• Strong portfolio showing retail construction methods, detailing, and materials.
• Strong project management and coordination skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Experience with multi-site retail rollouts.
• Familiarity with mall fit-out permit processes.

About the role

The Construction and Maintenance Engineer handles the building phase and the ongoing upkeep of the stations. The role blends civil, mechanical, electrical, and safety engineering. Conduct site inspections and assessment to ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget and complies to company standards. Ensures all projects and existing facilities complies to the national building code, fire safety code, electrical code, and environmental codes. Prepare accomplishment reports and assessment reports to management and regulatory agencies. Manage the contractors and maintenance teams.

About you

• Experience with multi-site retail rollouts
• Familiarity with construction management for mall fit-out requirements and permit processes
• Preferably with COSH training and certification
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, project management, and the specific challenges faced in the oil and gas industry
