The Construction Supervisor oversees the daily on-site operations of retail and commercial mall developments, major structural expansions, and tenant fit-outs. This role provides active leadership to the project engineering team and field staff to ensure all construction activities strictly adhere to engineering designs, safety standards, commercial building codes, and strict timelines. Acting as the primary liaison between engineering teams, architects, general contractors, sub-contractors, and mall management, the Construction Supervisor guarantees quality workmanship while minimizing disruptions to neighboring commercial operations.
Lead and manage the project engineering team, guiding site engineers and technical staff in executing complex structural and mechanical solutions.
Oversee day‑to‑day site operations, directing trade contractors, engineers, laborers, and heavy equipment operators.
Bridge the gap between engineering design and field execution by reviewing engineering submittals, RFIs (Requests for Information), and technical drawings.
Monitor project timelines and milestones, making real‑time scheduling adjustments to keep engineering and construction deliverables on track.
Coordinate material deliveries, specialized engineering equipment, and staging areas to maintain an efficient workflow within restricted mall site limits.

Manage off‑hours construction schedules (e.g., night shifts) required for high‑noise or high‑impact retail work.
Enforce mall‑specific contractor rules, delivery guidelines, dust control barriers, and noise mitigation policies.
Oversee individual tenant fit‑outs to ensure consistency with overall mall design guidelines and engineering utility hookups.
Maintain detailed daily site logs recording progress, weather conditions, headcount, delays, and site incidents.
Review contractor change orders, technical site instructions, and progress billing requests for accurate validation.
Report major project risks, engineering challenges, material shortages, or budget deviations directly to senior leadership.
Engineering Team Leadership: Proven capacity to lead, direct, and mentor project engineers and site technical personnel.
Technical Blueprint & Engineering Reading: Expert ability to interpret structural, architectural, civil, and complex MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) drawings.

Experience:

Technical Skills: Proficiency in project scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera) and engineering/management tools (Procore, AutoCAD, BIM/Revit viewer).
