Petrogazz Ventures Philippines Corp. is seeking a Licensed Civil Engineer to oversee the construction and maintenance of gasoline stations in Mandaluyong. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of five years of experience in project inspection, budgeting, and compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities include developing project plans, monitoring progress, and managing contractor relations. Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD is a must. This is a full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

Job Description

Objective: To ensure that works on site conforms to approved plan & specification as well as to all national and local codes regulations and ensure that all Petro Gazz standards are being followed by the contractors during project implementation.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for fuel station construction or upgrade projects.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary.
• Prepare estimates for materials and labor required for repair, renovation, and construction projects.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance to contractors, technicians, and site personnel.
• Conduct regular inspections of work progress to ensure safety and adherence to specifications.
• Analyze problems and provide solutions to construction-related concerns.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for materials, equipment, and services.
• Review quotations, purchase requests, and contracts to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Oversee on-site construction, installation, and maintenance activities.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to standards.
• Identify and resolve technical or operational issues promptly.
• Coordinate with other departments and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Maintain accurate project records, progress reports, and technical documentation.
• Prepare management reports on project status, risks, and completion.
• Ensure proper handover and documentation upon project completion.
• Process monthly advance requests.
• Provide needed report and evaluations for in-house costing.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with local, state, and company regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures as needed.

Job Requirements

• Licensed Civil Engineer.
• Minimum of five (5) years experienced in construction of gasoline stations or equivalent.
• Experienced in project site inspection and estimation in construction of gasoline station is advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.
• With knowledge in interpreting Architectural, Structural, Electrical, Sanitary, Mechanical and Electronic drawing.
• With knowledge in supervision and inspection of ongoing construction of gasoline stations.
• Can process invitation to bid to contractors.
• Strong attention to details and able to meet deadlines.
• Knowledgeable in filing, documentation and billing process.
• Effective communication & collaboration skills.
• Can prepare a project weekly report.
• With 4 wheels Driver’s License.
