Lhoopa Inc. is seeking a Communications Manager who can turn strategy into clear, consistent execution.
You’ll shape how our story is communicated to media, regulators, investors, industry partners, and the broader housing sector, and you’ll move from ideas to polished publications, campaigns, events, or announcements. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent writing, and the ability to translate input from leadership, data, policy, and operations into credible content.

Lhoopa is looking for a Communications Manager who can turn strategy into clear, consistent execution. You’ll help shape how our story is communicated to the media, government stakeholders, investors, industry partners, and the broader housing sector.
This role is for someone who thinks strategically, writes exceptionally well, and knows how to move from an idea to a polished publication, campaign, event, or announcement.
Turn communications priorities into clear monthly and weekly execution plans
Lead the development of whitepapers, research studies, impact reports, executive materials, and other major publications
Gather and translate input from leadership, data, operations, policy, and other teams into clear and credible content
Tailor stories and messages for different audiences, including regulators, investors, media, partners, brokers, and contractors
Manage drafts, revisions, approvals, and final delivery with minimal oversight
Ensure presentations, briefs, statements, and partner materials follow Lhoopa’s brand and narrative
Maintain and update key communications resources, including the brand book, templates, and message bank
Guide internal teams and external partners on tone, messaging, and design standards
Identify media and thought-leadership opportunities around company milestones, research, partnerships, and industry developments
Draft press releases, media advisories, opinion pieces, talking points, and expert commentary
Manage PR agency deliverables and timelines
Build and maintain productive relationships with priority journalists
Ensure major publications have a clear visibility and amplification plan
Lead communications for stakeholder events, partnerships, speaking engagements, and industry activations
Develop speaker briefs and talking points for senior leaders
Manage on-site media coordination, documentation, and content capture
Produce partnership stories and materials for government, industry, and community initiatives
Work closely with Strategy, Operations, and Public Affairs to keep messaging aligned
Support issues and crisis communications through timely statements, FAQs, escalation logs, and spokesperson materials
Maintain communications trackers, media lists, event records, and stakeholder maps
Monitor progress against communications priorities and flag risks or delays early
Prepare regular performance reports, campaign updates, and post-event or media recaps
At least five years of experience in communications, public relations, public affairs, corporate communications, or a related field
Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to simplify complex information
Strong understanding of media relations and stakeholder communications
Experience managing agencies, projects, and cross-functional contributors
Strong planning, organization, and follow-through
Sound judgment when handling sensitive or time-critical communications
Ability to coach and guide junior team members
Experience in technology, public policy, real estate, housing, or development is an advantage but not required

Major publications, campaigns, and events are delivered to a high standard
Media and stakeholder visibility grows in relevant sectors
Communications risks are identified and addressed early
Internal teams and external partners are aligned on the brand and message
