Home Credit Philippines seeks a Head of Communications and Social to shape our reputation, narrative, and stakeholder engagement strategy. This executive role drives an integrated communications agenda that strengthens brand equity and supports business growth.

The position leads corporate communications strategy, media relations, content, executive communications, crisis management, and ESG storytelling while collaborating with marketing to elevate the brand and employee engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Business, or related field.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, public relations, brand communications, or reputation management.
  • Proven experience building integrated communications strategies at senior leadership level.
  • Strong track record in media & content creator relations, executive communications, crisis management, and corporate reputation programs.

The Head of Communications and Social will lead and shape our organization's reputation, narrative, and stakeholder engagement strategy. This executive leadership role is responsible for developing and executing an integrated communications agenda that strengthens brand equity, builds trust, protects corporate reputation, and supports business growth.

What You’ll Do

Lead the Overall Corporate Communications Strategy

  • Develop and execute an integrated communications strategy that supports business objectives, strengthens stakeholder trust, and enhances corporate reputation.
  • Serve as the primary communications advisor to senior leadership on strategic communications matters.

Drive Reputation and Public Relation

  • Lead corporate reputation, media relations, and thought leadership programs.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and positioning across external communication channels, stakeholder groups and owned social media assets.

Lead Content, Creator and Channel Excellence

  • Oversee the development of impactful content across traditional, digital, social, and emerging communication platforms.
  • Leverage audience insights and performance metrics to continuously improve communication effectiveness
  • Responsible for positive community engagement and growth on social media channels, with the use of impactful and relevant content and influencers.
  • Plays a collaborative role by partnering up with the marketing team to support marketing activities such as product branding, content, and messages. Works together with Creative Services team in development of content.

Oversee Executive and Leadership Communications

  • Shape and manage executive communications for the CEO and leadership team, including speeches, key messaging, presentations, and public engagements.
  • Elevate leadership visibility and establish the organization as a trusted industry voice.

Lead Crisis and Issues Management

  • Develop and maintain crisis communications frameworks, response plans, and governance
  • Provide guidance and leadership during issues that may impact the organization's reputation or stakeholder confidence.

Champion ESG, Advocacy, and Corporate Storytelling

  • Lead communications programs that promote the organization's ESG agenda, financial literacy advocacy, social impact initiatives, and corporate purpose.
  • Build compelling narratives that strengthen stakeholder engagement and brand affinity.

Strengthen Employee Communications and Engagement

  • Develop internal communication strategies that foster alignment, engagement, and a strong organizational culture.
  • Support business transformation and change initiatives through effective communication.

Build and Develop High-Performing Teams

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing communications team and agency partners.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What You Need To Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, public relations, brand communications, or reputation management.
  • Proven experience building and executing integrated communications strategies at a senior leadership level.
  • Strong track record in media & content creator relations, executive communications, crisis management, and corporate reputation programs.
  • Experience managing diverse stakeholder groups and navigating complex business environments.
  • Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.
  • Ability to translate complex business issues into compelling and audience-centric narratives.
