Qualifications

• 3+ years professional kitchen experience, 2+ years in Chef de Partie or supervisory role.
• Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and culinary standards across multiple cuisines.
• Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining high quality during busy service periods.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to food safety, hygiene and health compliance.
• Experience with inventory management, food costing and kitchen organization systems.
• Flexibility to work variable shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of your kitchen station, ensuring dishes meet high quality and presentation standards.
• Prepare, cook, and plate dishes according to established recipes and plating guidelines for consistency.
• Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff assigned to your station, providing guidance and feedback.
• Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards, adhering to health and sanitation regulations.
• Manage stock levels and mise en place for your station, ensuring proper preparation before service.
• Collaborate with other Chef de Partie and kitchen leadership to coordinate service flow and menu changes.
• Contribute creative ideas to menu development and seasonal specials aligned with the hotel's culinary vision.
• Monitor food costs and minimise waste while upholding quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment at all times.
