Finastra is seeking a Technical Engineer in the Philippines to serve as the primary interface between clients and the Universal Banking Customer Support organization. You will troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide technical guidance as needed.

Role involves handling customer requests, performing root cause analysis, and contributing to knowledge documentation. Flexibility for after-hours shifts and holidays is required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, or related courses.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in technical support, application support, or a customer-facing technical support role within enterprise software, banking, financial services, or fintech environments.
• Experience with C/C++ is required.
• Working knowledge of SQL, Java, and/or C# is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Analytical abilities, attention to detail, stability, responsibility as well as customer focus
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a customer facing team
• Willing to work on Philippine holidays, on shifts or be assigned on after hour rotation

Responsabilidades

• Respond to customer requests, issues, or assistance to enable proper use of the product.
• Understand and replicate reported issues in Finastra environments.
• Perform technical investigations with root cause analysis and propose solutions.
• Update clients on progress towards resolution and ensure timely fixes.
• Participate in client meetings and WebEx sessions for effective communication.
• Provide temporary bug fixes when needed.
• Validate defects by confirming scenarios are fixed.
• Build simple scripts with senior guidance when required.
• Create and maintain solutions documentation to improve future support.
• Escalate issues to Team Leader or Manager when needed.
• Embed AI to enhance productivity and drive process improvements.
