Job summary

Firefly Electric & Lighting Corporation is hiring a Business Development Specialist to identify growth opportunities, generate leads with lighting and electrical consultants, and participate in bids to ensure qualifications are met.

You will partner with field sales to join, negotiate, and close bids, while exploring new segments such as HVAC, Solar EPC, institutional accounts, and manufacturing sectors. Build relationships with decision makers and present FELCO solutions to developers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in any field, preferably engineering/architectural.
• At least 2 years of work experience in electrical/architectural/construction industries is an advantage.
• Must have a driver’s license.
• Competency in negotiating and closing business deals.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Effective communication/presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate leads from new and existing lighting/electrical consultants and participate in bids by ensuring company and product qualifications are met.
• Work closely with field sales teams to join, negotiate, and close bids and provide direct support in bid-related activities.
• Identify and explore new opportunities and segments for the Professional Division (e.g., HVAC, Solar EPC, Institutional Coop, food chains, manufacturing/infrastructure).
• Establish relationships with Key Decision Makers and designers through targeted support and engagement with industry associations.
• Initiate and lead FELCO solutions presentations and tours for Developers, Contractors, and Designers and collaborate with field sales and product development teams to bridge product qualification gaps.

As a Business Development Specialist you are responsible for identifying opportunities for business growth and optimizing marketing strategies.

Other Requirements Include The Following

Generating leads from new and existing lighting and electrical consultants and participates in bids by ensuring company and product qualifications are met

Working closely with field sales teams to join, negotiate, and close bids and provides direct support in bid-related activities

Identifying and exploring new opportunities and segments for the Professional Division, such as HVAC, Solar EPC, Institutional Coop, food chains, manufacturing/infrastructure

Establishing relationships with Key Decision Makers and designers through targeted support, engagement with industry associations like the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers and United Architects of the Philippines

Initiating and leading FELCO solutions presentations and tours for Developers, Contractors, and Designers and collaborates with field sales and product development teams to bridge the gap in product qualifications required to join bids and offer unique products

To succeed and grow in this role, you will be required to meet the following requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in any Field, preferably an engineering / architectural course.

At least 2 years of work experience; background in electrical or architectural and construction industries is an advantage.

Must have a driver’s license
