Job summary

IT Managers, Inc. in the Philippines seeks a Business Development Officer who identifies and pursues long-term growth, focusing on new customers, markets, and strategic relationships beyond sales.

You will conduct market research, forge partnerships, and drive business expansion to improve profitability, reporting to Management and collaborating with Marketing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of proven lead generation or business development experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with persuasive outreach.
• Ability to work independently and with the Marketing Team.
• Amenable to work on site.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end sales and marketing from prospecting to closing.
• Maintain accurate records of lead interactions in the system.
• Develop and execute marketing strategies to acquire new clients.
• Cultivate relationships with key client points of contact (POCs).
• Ensure smooth transition of new clients to Account Officers.
• Collaborate with Marketing on proposals to improve services and processes.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor and management.

About the Role

Business Development Officer identifies and pursues long-term growth opportunities, focusing on creating value through new customers, markets, and strategic relationships, going beyond just sales to include market research, partnerships, and overall business expansion for increased profitability and success.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end sales and marketing process from prospecting leads through research, to scheduling, pitching, negotiating, accreditation, contract processing all the way to closing
• Maintain accurate and updated records of lead interactions and progress in the system.
• Develop and execute marketingstrategies to increasecompany sales and profit through acquisition of new clients
• Cultivate and maintain good business relationship with key clientPoints of Contact(POCs). Do regular client touch base and actively look for new business opportunities
• Ensure good transition of newly acquiredclients to AccountOfficers
• Work with the Marketing Team to manage and strategically deal with clients regarding concerns/problems and other relatedtasks in orderto keep harmonious business relationship
• Collaborate with the Marketing Team in coming up with innovative proposals on how to improve servicesoffered and businessprocesses to be at par with the fast-paced IT industry.
• Other tasks that may be assignedfrom time-to-time by immediate supervisor and Management.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field is preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in lead generation, business development, or a similar role, preferably in an IT consulting industry, staff augmentation and talent acquisition.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling outreach messages; strong interpersonal skills to build rapport quickly; active listening and persuasive abilities.
• Can work as an individual contributor but can work also efficiently with Marketing Team
• Amenable to work on site
