Career Point is seeking a Business Development Officer to expand our franchise network while upholding brand standards in the Philippines. You will identify and engage potential partners, manage negotiations, onboard new stores, and provide end-to-end franchising support.

The role requires 3+ years in franchise development, a bachelor’s degree in business-related fields (MBA preferred), and strong leadership and data-analysis skills.

Summary

The Business Development Officer is responsible for developing and executing strategies to expand the franchise network while maintaining brand consistency and cultivating strong relationships with franchisees. The role involves identifying and engaging potential franchise partners, managing negotiations, and providing end-to-end support throughout the franchising process. The officer also ensures that franchise operations are aligned with the company’s overall objectives through market analysis, strategic planning, and ongoing monitoring of financial performance.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Franchise Support & Development

• Onboard new franchisees (trainings, orientation, etc.)
• Help set up new stores and guide them through opening
• Provide ongoing support to existing stores

2. Compliance Monitoring

• Ensure franchisees follow brand standards, policies, and procedures
• Conduct store visits and audits (e.g. cleanliness, product quality, service, POS usage)

3. Sales & Performance Monitoring

• Track each store’s sales, costs, and profitability
• Help stores improve their performance
• Set and review targets with franchisees

4. Marketing & Promotions

• Coordinate local and national marketing campaigns
• Make sure stores execute promotions correctly

5. Communication & Coordination

• Serve as the point of contact between franchisees and head office
• Gather feedback from stores and elevate important concerns
• Help resolve any operational or customer service issues

6. Training & Coaching

• Conduct refresher trainings
• Help develop store staff and managers
• Encourage best practices across all branches

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations Management,or related field; MBA preferred
• 3+ years of experience in franchise development, retail expansion or business development roles
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across various stakeholders
• Proficient in analyzing data and making informed decisions based on business KPIs and market insights
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve both individual and collective goals
• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality service and achieving measurable outcomes
• Flexibility to travel as needed to visit franchise locations and attend meetings and conferences
