Responsibilities

• Franchise Acquisition: respond to inquiries within the agreed time frame.
• Assist in franchisee assessment, evaluation and selection.
• Assist in coordinating planning, construction, and opening of franchised stores.
• Franchise Administration: monitor compliance cycle time and resolve items with franchisor/franchisee.
• Prepare transaction documents for new development, openings, transfers, amendments, termination, and closing.
• Franchise Relations and Engagement: schedule quarterly financial reviews with franchisees and ensure alignment with brand standards.
• Oversee new franchisees and provide training on policies and procedures.
• Design a communication system to release information to franchisees; ensure efficiency.
• Support franchise-related programs to achieve high franchise satisfaction.
• International Franchising: liaise with international representatives and coordinate resources for expansion.
• System Improvement: standardize processes from acquisition to administration and update manuals.

Job description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Franchise Acquisition

• a. Responds to franchise inquiries and applications within the agreed time frame.
• b. Assists in franchisee assessment, evaluation, and selection.
• c. Assists in the coordination of all departments in relation to planning, construction, and opening of the franchised store.

2. Franchise Administration

• a. Monitors the franchise compliance cycle time (up to ownership direction) and ensures closure/ resolution to each critical item raised by ArmyNavy Franchisor to Franchisee.
• b. Issue documentation on the non-compliance of the franchisee (if needed).
• c. Assists in the preparation of all required transaction documents for new development, upcoming openings, transfers, amendments, termination, and closing.

3. Franchise Relations and Engagement

• a. Franchise Relation
  • i. Schedule quarterly Franchise financial review and business meeting with existing franchisees.
  • ii. Monitors submission of required reports from the franchisees.
• b. Ensures that all existing franchisees are aligned with the brand standardization, procedures, promotions, guidelines, rules and regulations.
• c. Oversees new franchisees and provides training and information on business policies and procedures.
• d. Designs a system of communication using the appropriate medium to ensure ontime release of information, news, and updates to franchisees; conducts a regular review to ensure system efficiency and effectiveness.
• e. Provides support and assistance in franchise-related programs; proper program execution/implementation will result to high franchise satisfaction level.

4. International Franchising

• a. Acts as the point person and liaise with the International Franchise representatives for any international franchise leads.
• b. Coordinates with the local ArmyNavy team any resources needed for international expansion.

5. System Improvement

• a. Established a standardized process flow from Franchise Acquisition up to Franchise Administration
• b. Established a signed and approved Franchise Kit for new Franchisees
• c. Review, revise, amend and/or update the Franchise Manual and any other policies and procedures regarding franchising.

6. Perform other tasks as assigned by ArmyNavy Management and Business Development Head.
