Job summary

Linex Corporation in the Philippines is seeking a proactive Sales Assistant to assist the Sales Manager in local business development, targeting new accounts and growing MS with existing clients.

You will generate leads, set appointments, present proposals, manage pipelines, respond to information requests promptly, handle RFQs and tenders, and coordinate with account management, operations, logistics, and finance teams to capture market opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Sales Manager on local business development by securing new accounts.
• Develop market share with existing customers to meet annual targets.
• Generate leads, set appointments, and present proposals to potential customers.
• Manage pipelines, respond to information requests promptly.
• Handle RFQ and tenders; participate in MBR and QBR.
• Coordinate with account management, operations, logistics, and finance teams.
• Study market trends and communicate updates to the team.
• Submit sales reports timely to the direct manager.

Job description

• Assist the Sales Manager on local business development by getting new accounts or increasing MS with existing accounts.
• Seek new customers whose profile match the strategy defined by Sales Manager.
• Develop market share with existing customers to an agreed annual target.
• Generate leads, set appointments, and present business proposals to potential customers through various communication channels, including face-to-face meetings, telephone calls, emails, etc.
• Manage and maintain pipelines, respond to requests for information in a timely manner, and remain proactive and responsive to prospective customers.
• Handle RFQ and tenders.
• Participate in MBR and QBR.
• Protect the company benefit by strictly complying with all policies and regulations.
• Effectively interact with other departments including the account management, operation & logistics teams, and finance department.
• Study the market inclusive, but not limited to competitors, carriers, and manufacturers to stay updated on market trends, fluctuations, and changes.
• Timely submission of sales reports to direct manager or higher levels when required.
