Role Overview
We are looking for a Coaching Sales Executive to develop and grow our business with coaching classes, tutorial institutes, competitive-exam academies, and educational institutions.
The candidate will be responsible for identifying potential coaching partners, understanding their academic and content requirements, presenting our products, negotiating commercial terms, and converting opportunities into long-term business relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with coaching classes and educational institutes.
- Build strong relationships with coaching owners, directors, academic heads, faculty members, and purchase teams.
- Conduct regular field visits to coaching institutes within the assigned territory.
- Understand the institute's requirements related to academic books, study material, test series, and other learning resources.
- Present and demonstrate relevant Target Learning Ventures products.
- Generate leads through market visits, references, networking, databases, and industry connections.
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and order quantities with clients.
- Follow up with prospective clients and convert leads into orders.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order closure and relationship management.
- Maintain accurate sales pipelines, forecasts, and client records.
- Identify opportunities for repeat orders, bulk purchases, and long-term institutional partnerships.
- Monitor competitor offerings, pricing, and market trends.
- Coordinate with internal teams for product availability, order processing, dispatch, and client requirements.
- Attend education exhibitions, seminars, coaching events, and other relevant industry activities.
Candidate Profile
- Graduate in any discipline.
- 1–5 years of experience in B2B sales, coaching sales, educational sales, publishing, ed-tech, or related industries.
- Candidates with existing relationships with coaching institutes will be preferred.
- Experience selling educational books, study material, test-preparation products, or academic resources will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Strong business development and lead-conversion abilities.
- Target-oriented and comfortable with field sales.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Good knowledge of the local coaching and competitive-exam market will be preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage the complete sales cycle.
