Business Development Assistant
Job Summary
The Business Development Assistant provides administrative, research, and coordination support to the Business Development team. The role assists in identifying business opportunities, maintaining client and prospect information, preparing proposals and presentations, and coordinating meetings and follow-ups to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Business Development team in identifying and researching potential clients and business opportunities.
- Conduct market and competitor research and gather relevant industry information.
- Maintain and update the database of clients, prospects, leads, and business contacts.
- Assist in preparing business proposals, presentations, quotations, and other client-related documents.
- Coordinate meetings, presentations, and follow-ups with prospective and existing clients.
- Monitor and follow up on leads, inquiries, and business development activities.
- Assist in preparing reports, trackers, and presentations for management.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of client requirements and requests.
- Support the preparation and organization of documents for client meetings and presentations.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of business development activities.
- Perform other administrative and business development-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
- Preferably with experience in business development, sales support, marketing, account management, or a similar role.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proactive, resourceful, and willing to learn.
- Comfortable communicating with clients and internal stakeholders.
