Job summary

Tenet Healthcare is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team in the Philippines. You will bridge business stakeholders and technical teams by gathering requirements, documenting processes, and supporting solution design and delivery through testing and validation.

The ideal candidate has strong SDLC and Agile experience, data analysis skills, and stakeholder management, with healthcare domain experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in software development or system implementation projects.
• Experience in Healthcare, Healthcare Technology, Revenue Cycle Management, or related healthcare domain.
• Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence or similar PM tools.
• Strong requirements gathering, user stories and acceptance criteria, process mapping and gap analysis.
• Experience with SDLC, Agile/Scrum, testing, and QA activities.
• Hands-on SQL for data analysis and validation; knowledge of APIs, JSON, XML, and system integrations.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements from stakeholders.

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team and support healthcare-focused initiatives.

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams by gathering requirements, documenting business processes, supporting solution design, and ensuring successful delivery through testing and validation activities. This role requires a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, data analysis, and stakeholder management. Experience working within the healthcare industry is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements from stakeholders. Facilitate requirements workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions.
• Create and maintain: Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) Functional Specifications
• Process Flows Use Cases
• User Stories and Acceptance Criteria Perform gap analysis and root cause analysis to identify business needs and solution opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Developers, QA Analysts, and Project Managers.
• Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives. Develop and execute test plans, test scenarios, and test cases. Participate in functional, regression, integration, and system testing activities.
• Track, document, and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle. Validate data using SQL queries and ensure accuracy of system outputs. Analyze and support API integrations, including working knowledge of JSON and XML.
• Provide input on UI/UX improvements and ensure solutions meet user expectations. Communicate project updates, risks, and recommendations to business stakeholders and leadership. Ensure delivered solutions align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field. Proven experience as a Business Analyst in software development or system implementation projects.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting healthcare applications, workflows, or healthcare data initiatives.
• Knowledge of SDLC best practices. Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar project management tools. Understanding of UI/UX principles and user-centered design.
• Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
