Shearwater Health is seeking a Business Analyst with 5+ years of experience to bridge business needs and technology solutions, collaborating with stakeholders, product teams, project managers, and development squads to gather requirements and deliver value.

The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders, product teams, project managers, and development teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and deliver solutions that drive business value and operational efficiency.
The responsibilities of a Business Analyst are outlined but not limited to the following:
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
Conduct workshops, interviews, and requirement elicitation sessions.
Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements.
Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS).
Analyze current business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
Create process flow diagrams, use cases, and workflow documentation.
Recommend process optimization and automation initiatives.
Support business transformation and digitalization projects.
Collaborate with business users, management, IT teams, and vendors.
Facilitate communication between business and technical teams.
Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve requirement-related issues.
Conduct requirement review and sign-off sessions.
Prepare business reports, dashboards, and presentations.
Maintain project documentation and knowledge repositories.
Develop training materials and user guides.
Support change management and end-user adoption activities
Graduate or Master’s Degree with 5 years in Inforamtion technology, Computer science Engineering with at least 2+ years in healthcare (CPO/BPO, payer, provider, or health tech).
Experience working on IT, digital transformation, or business process improvement projects within the healthcare industry.
Experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Exposure to cross-functional and stakeholder management activities.
Excellent storytelling and presentation skills; ability to engage clients, executives, and technical audiences
Tools: Jira, Azure services, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau
PMP, PRINCE2, Agile / Scrum Certifications, ITIL and Lean Six Sigma
Familiarity with productizing AI/ML and agentic systems in healthcare operations
