Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Building Engineer in the Philippines to monitor, maintain, and repair building systems including mechanical, plumbing, electrical and life-safety components. You will support preventive maintenance and ensure compliance with codes and safety standards.

The ideal candidate is a licensed Mechanical Engineer with 2–3 years in facilities management, proficient in Microsoft Office, able to lift 50 lbs, and capable of analytical problem solving.

Qualifications

• Licensed Mechanical Engineer with 2–3 years of facilities management experience.
• Able to perform physical tasks, including lifting 50 lbs.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to exercise judgment from multiple information sources.
• Willing to adopt new perspectives on existing solutions.
• Excellent quantitative skills for percentages and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, and life safety systems.
• Ensure building operations comply with codes and safety directives.
• Maintain an energy management program for efficient operation.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Review and ensure fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing operate within design specs.
• Share knowledge and coach others within the team.
• Lead by example and promote CBRE RISE values.
• Explain difficult information to stakeholders.
