Manila Tytana Colleges seeks a Facilities Supervisor to oversee daily building operations and act as the on-site representative in the Head/OIC's absence. You will supervise maintenance teams, coordinate with contractors, and ensure timely completion of repairs and safety compliance.
Applicants should have a Civil or Electrical Engineering background, strong organizational skills, and solid communication abilities to liaise with departments and vendors. In-person work at the campus is required.
Facility Operations & Supervision: Assist in the daily supervision and monitoring of building operations under the direction of the Facilities and Maintenance Engineering Head/OIC. Serve as the immediate on-site representative when the Head/OIC is off-site, in meetings, or handling project management duties.
Inspections & Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of building facilities to identify maintenance, repair, safety, cleanliness, and operational concerns. Monitor ongoing improvement projects, work progress, and equipment conditions.
Maintenance & Contractor Coordination: Assist in supervising maintenance personnel, contractors, and service providers during repair, installation, and preventive maintenance works. Ensure identified issues are completed within required timelines.
Customer Service & Incident Response: Coordinate and attend to day-to-day facility concerns raised by departments, faculty, employees, and building occupants. Provide immediate on-site support for urgent facility concerns, equipment issues, and incidents.
Reporting & Event Support: Prepare and maintain inspection reports, maintenance updates, and inventory records of tools and supplies. Provide operational support during school events, activities, inspections, and emergency drills.
Education: College Graduate (Bachelor's degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred).
Experience: Proven experience in building maintenance, facility operations, or administrative support, preferably within an educational or commercial setting.
Skills:
Knowledge of basic facility operations, preventive maintenance protocols, and safety standards.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to monitor multiple projects and respond to urgent concerns simultaneously.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with internal departments, external contractors, and service providers.
Keen attention to detail for conducting site inspections, preparing accurate work reports, and tracking inventory.
Problem-solving abilities to handle on-site operational emergencies and provide regular updates to department leadership.
