Job Summary
The Building Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and overall condition of the building and its facilities. The role ensures that building operations are safe, efficient, well-maintained, and responsive to the needs of tenants, occupants, contractors, and service providers.
Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the building and its facilities.
Ensure that building systems, equipment, utilities, and common areas are properly maintained and operational.
Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities with technical teams, contractors, and service providers.
Monitor building safety, security, cleanliness, and compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
Manage and coordinate contractors, suppliers, and external service providers to ensure quality and timely delivery of services.
Address and resolve tenant concerns, requests, and facility-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
Conduct regular inspections of building facilities and identify maintenance, safety, and operational concerns.
Monitor maintenance schedules, service contracts, and building-related expenses.
Prepare and maintain reports, records, maintenance logs, and other building management documentation.
Coordinate emergency response, incident handling, and other building safety procedures.
Lead and coordinate building personnel and ensure proper execution of assigned responsibilities.
Recommend improvements to building operations, maintenance, and facility services.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Property/Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in building management, facilities management, property management, or a similar role.
Knowledge of building maintenance, safety procedures, facility operations, and basic building systems.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Ability to effectively coordinate with tenants, contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
Ability to manage multiple operational concerns and prioritize tasks effectively.
