Job summary

BTSMC Managing Solutions, Inc. is urgently seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to be assigned in Pagbilao, Quezon and Mariveles, Bataan. The role requires handling sourcing, contracting, and supplier management to support Yugto/Oasis pillars.

Candidates should have an engineering degree and at least 3 years in SCM, with strong MS Office/ERP skills and flexibility to travel between Makati/Pasig, Pagbilao, and Bataan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in SCM (Supply Chain Management).
• Strong communication skills and customer focus; project management and risk management.
• Flexible with work location (Makati-Pasig-Pagbilao/Bataan).

Responsibilities

• Executes supply chain activities in line with Yugto/Oasis Pillars requirements.
• Assesses requirements and recommends sourcing strategies.

• Drafts contract templates and negotiates terms with suppliers.
• Sources vendors, builds supplier relationships for future sourcing.
• Evaluates proposals and conducts cost/financial assessments.

BTSMC Managing Solutions, Inc. is urgently looking for a SUPPLY CHAIN SPECIALIST to be assigned in (1) Pagbilao, Quezon and (1) Mariveles, Bataan

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred)

• With at least 3 years' experience in SCM (Supply Chain Management)

• Communication skills/Customer Focus, Project Management, Supply Chain Risk Management, Computer Literacy (MSOffice, ERP, etc.)

• Flexible with work location (Makati-Pasig-Pagbilao/Bataan)

Duties & Responsibilities:

Executes supply chain activities on Yugto/Oasis Pillars requirements in accordance with policies and procedures. Such activities include among others:

• Assesses requirements, and prepares and recommends the most suitable sourcing strategy;

• Assists the SCM lead in coming up with supply chain, sourcing, and/or contracting strategies to manage Project Yugto requirements;

• Creates and recommends high level terms and/or contract templates to utilize and drafts contract based on the specifications, scope of work and risk analysis of the technical, legal and commercial team;

• Invites and sources appropriate and qualified vendors; Establishes pool of vendors and builds relationship with suppliers for future sourcing;

• Evaluates proposals based on level playing field; Conducts financial evaluation of bids received, validates technical evaluation, recommends award and negotiation strategies;

• Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders for proper evaluation of proposals;

• Ensures that proper cost analysis is made through application of evaluation tools, where applicable, such as total cost of ownership, statistical methods, etc.;

• Prepares, recommends and/or coordinates negotiations strategies with technical and legal team and handle contract negotiations;

• Prepares/creates, negotiates and award purchase orders (POs)/Contracts/notice to proceeds (NTPs);

• Issues approved purchase orders (POs)/Contracts/notice to proceeds (NTPs) or equivalent to selected suppliers/contractors;

• Ensures proper roll-out/kick-off/cascade of purchase orders/contracts with services to the relevant proponents/implementers/contract administrator;

• Monitors completion of deliveries and ensures timely completion thereof;

• Manages and processes change orders or contract variations;

• Handles collaboration meetings with the facilities or internal stakeholders for the resolution of contractual claims, issues and concerns (ex. rejection, short shipment, warranty or insurance claims, etc.) and prepares necessary documents for the claims;

• Facilitates vendor management activities (e.g. accreditation, evaluation, performance assessment and management, etc.);

• Ensures ethical practices are employed in all procurement activities;

• Complies with the company and SCM's policies and procedures;

• Complies with proper document management activities (e.g. insurance, filing of POs/Contracts, etc.);

• Issues and conducts contract roll-outs to ensure calibrated alignment of stakeholders on contracts; and

• Fosters professional and good relationships with suppliers which includes resolving supplier, delivery, payment and other contractual issues.

Other Details:

• Work Schedule: Monday - Saturday, 8hrs./day

• Work Location: Makati/Pasig City (with travel to Pagbilao, Quezon Province)
