Job description

• Prepare, verify, and issue customer invoices for trucking and transportation services
• Ensure billing accuracy based on delivery notes, PODs, rate agreements, trip sheets, and fuel surcharges
• Coordinate with operations and dispatch teams to confirm trip details and charges
• Verify freight rates, accessorial charges, detention, demurrage, and extra costs
• Maintain billing records and documentation in the system
• Follow up on missing documents such as Proof of Delivery (POD)
• Assist with customer billing inquiries and dispute resolution
• Support accounts receivable with invoice corrections and adjustments
• Ensure compliance with company billing policies and customer contracts
• Prepare billing reports and summaries as required

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (preferred)
• 1–3 years of experience in billing or accounting within trucking, transportation, or logistics.
• Knowledge of trucking operations, freight charges, and transportation documents
