Job summary

Cloudstaff Philippines Inc. is seeking a Benefits Specialist to manage setup, maintenance, and reconciliation of clients' benefit and retirement plans, including pre- and post-tax deductions for each employee.

This role requires working knowledge of multiple payroll systems and a focus on accuracy and confidentiality. You will handle open enrollment, ACA reporting, and monthly reconciliations, while coordinating with vendors and carriers.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent business experience in benefits administration.
• Detail oriented with the ability to accurately add, delete, and modify data.
• Teamwork and ability to contribute to a positive team environment.
• Strong business acumen and awareness of benefits trends and budgets.
• Ethics and integrity in handling confidential information.
• Proficiency with payroll systems and standard office software.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents and reports.
• Strong mathematical skills for calculations and percentages.
• Regular and reliable attendance per company policy.
• Ability to type quickly and accurately and maintain high data-entry quality.

Responsibilities

• Data entry across multiple payroll systems.
• Set up health benefit plans (Medical, Dental, Life, Vision, Disability).
• Set up benefit policies and post/pre-tax deductions.
• Monthly reconciliation of carrier statements with employee data.
• Process employee status changes, enrollments and terminations timely.
• Maintain ACA information for all applicable employee files.
• Assist with open enrollment planning and execution.
• Provide information and reports to management; escalate issues with remedies.
• Liaise with software vendors or carriers on benefits issues.
• Develop and maintain relationships with employees and management; participate in meetings.
• Maintain COBRA administration for clients and employees.
