Job summary

Asia Select in Philippines seeks a Payroll and Benefits Officer in Alabang, Muntinlupa City to administer payroll and benefits, ensuring compliance with Philippine labor and tax laws and supporting HR, Finance, and employees.

The role covers end-to-end payroll, statutory contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR), benefits administration (HMO/insurance), HRIS data integrity, and reporting, all while maintaining confidentiality in a dynamic onsite setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, accounting, finance, or related field.
• 7–10 years in payroll administration or related function.
• Experience with end-to-end payroll processing and reconciliations.
• Solid knowledge of Philippine payroll regulations and taxes (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR).
• Experience with employee benefits programs (HMO, insurance).
• Proficient in HRIS and payroll systems; advanced Excel.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management; high integrity.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including inputs, attendance validation, overtime, leaves, allowances, incentives, deductions, adjustments, and payroll release.
• Validate payroll calculations, reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, ensure internal controls and deadlines.
• Process final pay, separation pay, back pay, off-cycle payroll, and other requirements.
• Ensure accurate remittance of statutory contributions and taxes (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR).
• Administer employee benefits programs (HMO, insurance, leave benefits, allowances).
• Coordinate enrollment, updates, dependent management, claims with external providers.
• Maintain data in HRIS and payroll systems; generate reports.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, agencies, providers on payroll/compliance.
• Prepare reconciliations, management reports, audit docs.
• Serve as primary contact for payroll, benefits, deductions, and compensation inquiries.
• Support payroll system enhancements and process improvements.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll data.
