Job summary

Vision Express Philippines is seeking a Benefits Specialist to design, administer, and continuously improve employee benefits as part of Total Rewards. You will ensure programs are compliant, cost-effective, and aligned with People and Culture strategies to boost wellbeing, engagement, and retention.

You will manage statutory remittances, vendor coordination, renewals, and analytics, while serving as the primary contact for benefits inquiries across the organization. This role is based in Makati.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Philippine statutory benefits (SSS, PAGIBIG, Philhealth).
• Experience with benefits administration and employee benefits programs.
• Understanding of compliance requirements related to employee benefits.
• Ability to manage multiple inquiries and provide clear guidance to employees.
• Proficiency with benefits systems and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute monthly statutory benefits – remittances, loans payment (SSS, PAGIBIG, Philhealth) with timely and accurate processing.
• Facilitate and process statutory benefits for SSS maternity and sickness, including loans certification in SSS and Pagibig.
• Prepare and release Certificate of Employment (COE) according to SLA every Friday through service desk.
• Facilitate and process internal benefits upon employee request such as MPL, Employee Discount, birthday and relocation allowance.
• Facilitate enrollment of newly regularized and deletion of separated employees in HMO, GLI, and GPA including billings, reconciliation and payment.
• Serve as primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, providing clear and empathetic guidance.
• Assist in annual benefits renewal processes, including vendor coordination, cost analysis, and plan design recommendations.
• Participate in benchmarking and market analysis to evaluate benefits competitiveness and trends.
• Support development and execution of Total Rewards strategy, aligning benefits offerings with organizational values, talent goals, and market competitiveness.
• Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Generate regular dashboards and analytics on benefits utilization, costs, and related metrics.
