Job summary

Startek Philippines seeks a Benefits Analyst to administer and coordinate company benefit plans, including medical, 401(k), and wellness programs, while leading projects and responding to employee inquiries. You will partner with HR, payroll, and vendors to ensure timely enrollment, accurate deductions, and regulatory compliance, including ERISA, COBRA, and ACA requirements.

This role demands strong analytical abilities, excellent communication, and the capacity to manage multiple initiatives

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of benefits administration experience.
• Degree in HR or related field.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects under deadlines.
• Strong analytical and regulatory compliance knowledge (ERISA, COBRA, ACA).
• CEBS or CBP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Day to day contact for all benefits questions, including basic 401(k) plan issues.
• Assures effective communication of benefits plan information and assists in development of communication materials for employee benefits including Benefits Guide and enrollment emails.
• Manage vendor and broker relationship.
• Interfaces with payroll, insurance providers and benefits vendors regarding issues of the company benefits plans.
• Facilitates the annual benefits open enrollment process including the review of communication materials, testing benefits portal to ensure accuracy of benefit programs.
• Responsible for year-end benefits testing and reporting. Ensures that all annual benefits rates updated in HRIS to ensure accurate and timely payroll deductions.
• Processes verification of benefits requests (i.e. employee requests, medical support orders, etc.).
• Audits benefit and 401(k) payroll deductions.
• Works with Human Resources management on various wellness program projects.
• Assists with all audits, including 401 (k), HRIS testing and vendor audits. Manages all benefits reporting.
• Ensures compliance is met to include annual NDT and 5500 filing for 401 (k) plan, health and welfare 5500 filings, etc.
• Serves as the Benefits Subject Matter Expert with HRIS, including the setup of new benefit plans, resolving any vendor integration file issues, and maintaining accuracy within the system.
• Scans and files documentation for records
• Responsible for reconciling and processing monthly benefits vendor invoices for US.
• Weekly reconciliation of vendor discrepancy reports
