Job summary

Empower Retirement in the Philippines is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Analyst to ensure accurate, compliant payroll processing and benefits administration. You will handle data validation, tax compliance, inquiries, and contribute to a positive employee experience.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of payroll/benefits experience, solid knowledge of Philippine labor laws, and hands-on Workday or similar systems with advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, HR, or related field.
• 2–4 years in payroll and benefits in the Philippines.
• Knowledge of Philippine labor laws, DOLE, BIR, and government benefits.
• Experience with payroll systems such as Workday or similar.
• Proficient Excel for data analysis and reconciliations.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end payroll processing for the Philippines including validation and post-payroll audits.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, contributions, and policies.
• Perform reconciliations, variance reviews, reporting, and data analysis.
• Resolve payroll inquiries and escalate complex matters.
• Process off-cycle payments and adjustments with controls.
• Collaborate with payroll vendors and internal teams for timely delivery.
• Support Finance with journal entries and GL activities.
• Administer employee benefits including HMO, insurance, government benefits, and leave.
• Reconcile benefit invoices and statutory contributions.
• Contribute to process improvements and audits.
