Job summary

BDO Network Bank is seeking an Account Officer for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to drive loan volumes while maintaining profitability and credit quality, and delivering excellent customer service.

You will actively solicit MSME loan accounts, assess applicants, initiate credit actions, coordinate processing, review loan files, and support sales activities to meet targets.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a four-year or five-year degree program.
• Possesses good selling, communication and customer service skills.
• Must have basic mathematical knowledge.
• Familiar with word processing and spreadsheets.
• Fieldwork and sales experience in microfinance is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts to meet the business needs of the customer.
• Analyze overall loan applicant's qualifications to determine feasibility of granting loans.
• Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality of accounts.
• Coordinate with concerned officers and/or other units related to processing and servicing of loan applications and loan clients.
• Review and update customer loan files, loan agreements, etc. to ensure adequacy for credit processing and loan booking.
• Execute sales and/or marketing activities that will achieve volume targets.
