UST Angelicum College in the Philippines seeks a senior Facilities Manager to lead the development, operation, maintenance, and improvement of the school’s physical plant and facilities. You will oversee safety, security, and auxiliary services, ensure compliance with safety standards, coordinate with administrators, contractors, and service providers, and drive efficient campus operations.
The role requires an engineering degree, licensure, and proven supervisory experience in educational
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
Preferably a Licensed Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineer.
With relevant supervisory or managerial experience in Facilities Management, Building Management, Physical Plant Operations, or Auxiliary Services, preferably in a school or educational institution.
WithBasic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) training/certification.
Strong knowledge of building operations, facilities maintenance, occupational safety, security, and property management.
Excellent leadership, organizational, coordination, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to supervise and manage maintenance, janitorial, security, and other auxiliary personnel.
Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with school administrators, employees, contractors, and service providers.
Provides overall leadership and supervision in the development, operation, maintenance, and improvement of the school’s physical plant and facilities.
Ensures that school buildings, grounds, and facilities are safe, functional, well-maintained, and conducive to learning and work.
Oversees regular inspection of facilities and ensures timely action on repair, maintenance, and improvement requirements.
Develops and monitors preventive and corrective maintenance programs for school facilities and equipment.
Coordinates with the Head of Security in planning and implementing safety and security measures to protect students, employees, visitors, school properties, and the entire school community.
Ensures the implementation of appropriate safety, emergency preparedness, disaster response, and security protocols.
Monitors compliance with applicable occupational safety and health standards and institutional policies.
Leads the coordination and resolution of facility-related safety and security concerns.
Oversees the overall day-to-day auxiliary operations of the school.
Coordinates with different school offices regarding facility, maintenance, safety, security, and operational requirements.
Ensures that facilities, equipment, and support services are adequately prepared for school activities and events.
Develops and implements policies, procedures, and programs that support efficient and effective auxiliary operations.
Prepares and submits reports, recommendations, and proposals related to facilities, maintenance, safety, security, and auxiliary services.
Assists school administration in planning and implementing projects related to campus development, facilities improvement, and operational efficiency.
Performs other related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the school administration.
