Job summary

Outsourced.ph is seeking a Payroll Officer to oversee end-to-end payroll for ~400 employees in a Philippines operation servicing Australian payroll requirements. You’ll ensure accurate processing, onboarding/offboarding, reconciliations, and compliance with PAYG and related obligations.

The role requires 3+ years Australian payroll experience, strong Excel skills, and close collaboration with finance teams; day shift 6am–3pm PHT with reliable internet, and a supportive, growth‑oriented

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Australian payroll experience with end-to-end payroll processing for large workforces.
• Strong knowledge of Australian payroll compliance, including PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax and related rules.
• Experience with payroll reconciliations, general ledger accounting, month-end journals and accruals.
• Proficiency in payroll/financial systems and Microsoft Excel, with attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process end-to-end payroll for approximately 400 employees.
• Oversee fortnightly payroll processing, including leave allocations.
• Review and approve payroll calculations, including salaries, bonuses and deductions.
• Process salary allocations for each pay run.
• Process quarterly superannuation payments through the clearing house.
• Reconcile superannuation payments to the general ledger.
• Maintain up-to-date employee payroll records.
• Process payroll and HR documentation for new employees and set up records in the payroll/HR system.
• Calculate and process termination and off-cycle payments as required.
• Perform payroll-related GL reconciliations and prepare accruals and adjustment journals.
