Job summary

Outsourced.ph in the Philippines is seeking an AU Payroll Officer for a hybrid, full-time role. You will oversee end-to-end payroll processing for about 400 employees and ensure accuracy and on-time delivery.

You will work with internal finance teams to maintain payroll data, handle onboarding/offboarding, reconciliations, and compliance with PAYG, superannuation, and payroll tax. Strong Excel and payroll systems experience is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Australian payroll experience for about 400 employees
• Strong knowledge of PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax, and related employment requirements
• Experience with payroll reconciliations, GL accounting, month-end journals, accruals and provisions
• Proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Excel, with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication, organization, and ability to handle confidential information and deadlines
• Stable internet connection and ability to work Day Shift from 6am to 3pm PHT

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll for approximately 400 employees
• Oversee fortnightly payroll processing, reviewing leave allocations
• Review and approve payroll calculations including salaries, bonuses, deductions
• Process salary allocations for each pay run
• Reconcile superannuation payments to the general ledger
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records
• Process payroll HR documentation for new employees and set up records
• Handle termination and off-cycle payments when required
• Perform GL reconciliations and payroll accruals journals
