Job summary

MMC OUTSOURCE CORP. in Philippines-based operations seeks an experienced Payroll Officer with strong Australian payroll experience to support an Australian business.

The role covers end-to-end payroll, compliance, reporting and HR administration in a busy environment. You will handle Australian Awards, Enterprise Agreements, superannuation, STP, PAYG withholding and payroll tax, while maintaining accurate employee records and timely payroll processing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Payroll Officer in a busy environment.
• Experience processing at least 100 pays per payroll cycle.
• Strong hands-on Australian payroll experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Australian Awards, Enterprise Agreements, Superannuation, STP, PAYG withholding and Payroll tax.
• Experience using payroll systems, HRIS and employee records systems.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and payroll reporting.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Outlook and Word.
• High level of confidentiality, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organisation and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict payroll deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage accurate and timely end-to-end Australian payroll.
• Process payroll data, leave, superannuation and authorised changes to pay rates and conditions.
• Ensure payroll complies with Australian Awards, Enterprise Agreements, taxation and statutory obligations.
• Maintain accurate and confidential payroll and employee records.
• Prepare payroll, HR and compliance reports for management, auditors and government agencies.
• Respond promptly to payroll-related queries from employees and management.
• Support HR administration, employee records, contracts and compliance registers.
• Assist with workers compensation and other HR programs where required.
