About the role
This role involves supporting IT infrastructure operations under the guidance of Associate or Senior staff. You will assist in deploying application releases, provide technical support, monitor alert systems, and support recovery tasks from infrastructure or software failures. Day-to-day responsibilities include verifying backups, conducting system monitoring, reviewing logs, and providing internal IT support to staff.

- Support recovery tasks from infrastructure or software failures, following guidance from more senior colleagues
- Perform daily operational tasks such as verifying backups, conducting basic system monitoring, and reviewing logs
- Provide internal IT support to staff by resolving routine hardware/software issues and service requests
- Assist in documenting environments, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting steps
- Learn to write and maintain simple scripts to automate repetitive tasks under guidance
- Collaborate with team members to identify recurring issues and propose potential improvements for discussion
- Support infrastructure maintenance activities such as patching, hardware setup, user account provisioning, and security checks
About you
- 0-1 year of experience in IT infrastructure support or related field (internship or academic projects considered)
- Basic understanding of Cloud technologies, particularly AWS (introductory training or certification is a plus)
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner: Must successfully pass the certification examination by the end of the fifth (5th) month of employment as a requirement for regularization
- AWS Certified CloudOps Engineer: Must successfully pass the certification examination within twelve (12) months from the date of employment, with a maximum of two (2) attempts
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell) is a plus but not required
- Willingness to learn Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and containerization tools (Docker)
- Strong problem-solving attitude, curiosity, and eagerness to learn
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment
- Must be adaptable to shifting tasks and fast-paced technical environments
