Job summary

APW Tech is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to maintain and improve enterprise production environments across datacenter and cloud platforms in Metro Manila. You will work with Linux, IaC, networking, automation tools, and cloud services to ensure reliability, security, and high availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years supporting production infrastructure in high-availability environments.
• 3+ years Linux administration (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).
• Strong networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, load balancing, reverse proxies, SDN).
• 2+ years with Git, GitHub or GitLab.
• 2+ years with Terraform, Ansible and Puppet (IaC).
• Scripting with Bash or Python.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker (preferred).
• AWS Cloud Services (EC2, VPC, IAM, EKS) (preferred).
• Familiarity with SRE and CI/CD practices (preferred).

You'll work with modern infrastructure technologies including Linux, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), networking, automation tools, and cloud platforms while supporting mission-critical environments.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in a 4-year IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related course
• At least 3 years of experience supporting production infrastructure in high-availability environments
• At least 3 years of Linux administration experience (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, or similar)
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, DNS, DHCP, Load Balancing, Reverse Proxies, and SDN technologies
• At least 2 years of experience with version control systems such as Git, GitHub, or GitLab
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform, Ansible, and Puppet
• Experience with scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized environments (preferred)
• Experience with AWS Cloud Services including EC2, VPC, IAM, and EKS (preferred)
• Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices and CI/CD environments (preferred)
