Job summary

Excelsior Farms Inc. in Negros Occidental is seeking a seasoned Retail Operations Manager to lead daily store operations across multiple locations, ensuring compliance, efficient staffing, and strong customer service.

You will supervise and train staff, optimize inventory and visual merchandising, analyze sales performance, travel across Negros for store visits, and work with Marketing to drive revenue while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, Operations Management, or related field.
• 5–8 years in retail sales and operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven multi-store or area management experience, preferably across multiple locations.
• Strong sales management record and ability to drive revenue growth.
• People management experience: recruitment, training, scheduling, coaching.
• Expertise in inventory, merchandising, store ops, and loss prevention.
• Willing to travel extensively within Negros and work weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

Job description

1. Daily Operations: Collaborate with other integral departments to ensure adherence of daily operational and compliance standards of all EGGcelsior Stores including opening and closing procedures, staffing, inventory management and customer service

2. Customer Service Excellence: Uphold a high standard of customer service by providing prompt and courteous assistance of customers, addressing inquiries, suggestive/upselling, resolving complaints and ensuring customer satisfaction.

3. Staff Supervision and Training: Assist in recruitment and takes charge in training and supervision of retail staff, cashiers and merchandisers ensuring that they will deliver excellent customer service and perform their duties effectively.

4. Inventory management: Support accurate inventory management process including receiving of deliveries, stocking, conducting regular inventory counts and minimize stock discrepancies.

5. Visual merchandising: Collaborate with Marketing to maintain appealing visual appealing displays and ensure that eggs are showcased effectively to drive sales and enhance the overall customer experience

6. Sales and Performance Analysis: Monitors retail-wide sales performance, analyzing trends and identifying opportunities for improvements. Support the implementation of strategies to optimize sales and achieve revenue targets.

7. Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with statutory and company policies & procedures as well as relevant health and safety regulations

8. Administrative Tasks: Takes charge with administrative tasks such as scheduling of merchandisers and cashiers work shifts and submitting reports including attendance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
• At least 5–8 years of experience in retail sales and operations, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
• Proven experience in multi-store, branch, or area management, preferably overseeing multiple retail locations.
• Strong track record in sales management, including achieving sales targets, analyzing performance, developing action plans, and driving revenue growth.
• Demonstrated experience in people management, including recruitment, training, coaching, performance evaluation, staff scheduling, and team development.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, store operations, and loss prevention, with experience in maintaining operational and inventory accuracy.
• Excellent understanding of customer service, sales execution, and visual merchandising standards, with the ability to implement initiatives that improve customer experience and sales performance.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with different departments.
• Knowledge of company policies, labor regulations, health and safety standards, and other statutory requirements relevant to retail operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, particularly Excel or Google Sheets, for sales analysis, reporting, scheduling, and operational monitoring.
• Willing to travel extensively within Negros and conduct regular store visits to monitor operations, personnel, sales performance, and compliance.
• Willing to work on weekends, holidays, and shifting schedules as required by retail operations.
