About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and results-oriented Junior Retail Operations Manager to support and oversee daily retail operations across assigned stores. This role is ideal for a strong retail professional with leadership experience, a passion for operational excellence, and the ability to drive team performance in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Store Operations & Team Management

• Oversee daily store operations and ensure consistent delivery of excellent customer service.
• Supervise store opening and closing procedures in compliance with company standards.
• Conduct regular store visits, operational checks, staff meetings, and training sessions.
• Prepare and manage monthly schedules for operations staff and sales associates to ensure efficient manpower coverage.
• Train, coach, and evaluate sales associates to improve productivity and overall team performance.
• Foster a positive and professional work culture by leading through example.

Sales & Business Performance

• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and operational goals.
• Analyze sales reports, market trends, and operational data to support business planning and decision-making.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.

Merchandising & Inventory Coordination

• Coordinate with the merchandising team to ensure proper product display, store presentation, and optimized customer flow.
• Work closely with department heads to maintain healthy inventory levels and minimize stock losses.
• Support logistics and inventory monitoring to ensure product availability across stores.

Compliance & Cross-Functional Coordination

• Coordinate with the HR team regarding staffing requirements, employee performance evaluations, and compliance matters.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, operational procedures, health and safety standards, and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration or any related field.
• At least 2 to 4 years of experience in retail operations, store management, or a similar leadership role.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, merchandising, customer service, and sales management.
• Familiarity with department store consignment processes and boutique operations is highly preferred.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic retail environment.
• Proactive, adaptable, and results-driven.
• Willing to conduct fieldwork and travel to provincial locations as needed.
• Must be based in Manila or willing to be assigned within the area.
