Seroja in Bugis Central Region, Singapore, seeks an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our high-achieving team on a full-time basis. You will work with the Restaurant Manager to ensure smooth operations and uphold the highest standards of service, food quality, and guest satisfaction.

You will lead front-of-house and back-of-house teams, manage reservations and staffing, and contribute to cost control and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory role in hospitality.
• Strong leadership and staff-motivation abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer-focused approach.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety, and hospitality best practices.
• Proficiency with POS systems and restaurant management software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day management and supervision of all restaurant staff (front-of-house and back-of-house).
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene regulations and company policies.
• Oversee table management, seating, and reservations to optimise customer flow.
• Monitor food and beverage service quality to meet standards.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues swiftly.
• Assist with recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Manage inventory and assist with supplies ordering, collaborating on cost control.
• Support implementation of restaurant policies, procedures, and SOPs.
• Participate in promotions and events to boost engagement.
• Maintain clear communication with Restaurant Manager and other departments.
