About the role

I-Serve360 Corporation is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team in Daraga, Albay. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial operational role in supporting the Restaurant Manager and ensuring the smooth running of our establishment. As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be instrumental in maintaining service excellence, managing staff performance, and driving sales within our restaurant. This role offers the perfect opportunity to develop your management skills whilst contributing directly to the success of our dining operations and customer satisfaction objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures
• Supervise and coordinate front-of-house and back-of-house staff to ensure efficient service delivery
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and adherence to health and safety standards
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and resolve issues promptly to maintain guest satisfaction
• Support staff training and development initiatives, ensuring team members are knowledgeable about menus and service protocols
• Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimise waste and maintain profitability
• Assist in scheduling staff, managing timesheets, and ensuring adequate staffing levels during peak and off-peak hours
• Contribute to revenue generation by promoting sales, upselling menu items, and implementing promotional activities
• Maintain compliance with food safety regulations, health codes, and company policies
• Report on operational metrics and performance to the Restaurant Manager and support management decision-making

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a restaurant or hospitality management role, preferably as an Assistant Manager or similar supervisory position
• Strong leadership and team management abilities with the capacity to motivate and develop staff
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with composure and professionalism
• Solid understanding of food safety standards, health and hygiene regulations, and restaurant operations
• Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic restaurant management software
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to manage budgets and control costs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
• Valid certifications in food safety or hospitality management are advantageous
• Ability to multitask, prioritise effectively, and maintain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
